Allu Arjun expressed deep regret over the stampede incident at Sandhya Theatre, calling it an unfortunate event. He referred to the incident as "an accident" and clarified that no one was to blame for it.
"In this incident, a family has faced an unexpected tragedy. I extend my heartfelt condolences to them. I am deeply saddened by this incident," he shared, expressing his personal grief.
Regarding the condition of Srithaj, who was injured in the stampede, Allu Arjun mentioned that he hoped for his quick recovery and was regularly inquiring about his health.
The actor also spoke about the distress caused by false allegations against him. "I went to the theatre to see how the audience would receive a film I had worked on for three years. I did not insult anyone. You’ve been watching me for 20 years, and you know I’m not someone who insults others," he clarified.
"I did not conduct any roadshow or procession. The police at the theatre did not approach me. I left the place only after being informed by my team. I learned of Revathi's death the following day. I had no idea that such an incident would occur while I was watching the film with my children. I had planned to visit the hospital the next day, but my family asked me not to come," he revealed.
Allu Arjun emphasized in his statement that he did not act irresponsibly and insisted that no one was at fault in this unfortunate incident.
