Already breaking records with its ticket sales, the film’s advance bookings have opened. Ace producer Dil Raju is distributing the movie across the Telugu states through SVC. A pre-release press meet was held today in Hyderabad, attended by Mohanlal, Prithviraj, Dil Raju, DOP Sujith Vaassudev, actor Karthikeya Dev, and other key members of the team.

During the press meet, Mohanlal shared his thoughts with the media: "Good afternoon, everyone. Though I'm not fluent in Telugu, I’m grateful to Dil Raju garu for bringing our film to the Telugu-speaking audience. As Prithvi said, the Telugu industry is the best in the country, and the respect given to cinema and artists here is incredible. In my 47 years of career, I've worked with legends like Nageshwara Rao sir. While in Kerala, we enjoy films from all languages, it’s time to change the habit and encourage people to watch our films too. ‘Empuraan’ is very special to us. When we made ‘Lucifer’, it was groundbreaking for the Kerala audience, and now ‘Empuraan’ is more than just a sequel. We have already planned three films, and if ‘Empuraan’ succeeds, we’ll bring the third part too. We all pray for its success and hope to celebrate either the 50th or 100th day here soon."

Prithviraj Sukumaran also expressed his gratitude: "Thank you, Dil Raju garu, for bringing this film to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. This film is not just another project from our industry; it's a landmark effort to push the boundaries of Malayalam cinema. We want everyone to enjoy the Telugu version because we’ve worked hard to make it authentic. The overwhelming response to ticket bookings has amazed all of us. We truly hope ‘Empuraan’ marks the beginning of something new for Malayalam cinema."

Dil Raju praised the efforts behind the film: "Rajamouli showed us how regional films can go national and international with ‘Baahubali’. Prashanth Neel continued that with ‘KGF’ and Sukumar with ‘Pushpa’. Now it’s Prithviraj’s turn to elevate Malayalam cinema to a pan-India level. The first part was a massive success, and the second promises to be even bigger. With a budget of Rs. 150 crores, ‘Empuraan’ is set to amaze. Mohanlal’s screen presence is electrifying, and the trailer has all the grand elements we expect."

Cinematographer Sujith Vaassudev said, "I am proud of the work we’ve done on this film. We are confident the audience will enjoy the experience."

Actor Karthikeya Dev, who plays Zayed, shared his excitement: "I’m grateful to Prithviraj sir for trusting me with this role. Zayed is a character with hidden depths, and it was an honor to bring him to life. I feel blessed to be part of this project. Thanks to Mohanlal sir for being so supportive."

“L2E: Empuraan” is produced by Antony Perumbavoor and Gokulam Gopalan under Aashirvad Cinemas and Sree Gokulam Movies. It will be distributed by Hombale Films in Karnataka, Sree Gokulam Movies in Tamil Nadu, and AA Films in North India.
